A writing desk corner with notebooks stacked by walking distance
Notes sorted by how far I walked — not by importance.

Notes arranged by how far I walked to write them — not by importance, only by distance from the lift lobby. I keep this archive for myself first: a way to remember which corners of Queenstown felt close enough to visit without planning, which needed a bus card and a bit of patience, and which carried me to the other side of the island on errands that turned into paragraphs.

The grouping below follows walking time, not prestige. A note written at the coffee shop under my block sits beside one from the green corridor because both are within ten minutes of home. The MRT platform counts as a bus ride because I treat the escalator descent as its own small journey. Chin Swee sits where it belongs in the furthest group — not because the memory is louder, but because the walk that evening took me across neighbourhoods I do not usually cross after supper.
